There are many reasons to do so, and as you are reading this, l will assume you have an interest or are at least curious. Some people train to change career, some because they want to help others, some do this to help themselves improve their own life. Some, like me, have seen the benefits and decided to learn simply because it has such a life changing effect. However whatever your reason ,l have listed some of the main benefits as l see them.

Number one is job satisfaction. Nothing else comes remotely close. When you help your clients and they tell you "thank you, you have changed my life, l wish l had found you years ago". Believe me this is better than achieving any sales or profit target for an employer.
You will have so much pride in what do. After you help someone get over their obstacle or help them make a new start or change their outlook from negative to positive, you will feel proud of what you have achieved, and rightly so!
Being self employed is high on my list. You make all the decision, no one telling you what to do!
You can work from home, no outgoings or work from a Therapy Centre. Your decision!
Flexible working hours. Work as often as you wish, when you wish.
Earnings - Decide how much you wish to earn, decide how long you wish to work and divide one into the other and you have your hourly fee. You can often earn more working P/T self employed than F/T for an employer. How many smokers would you need to treat at £250.00 per session to improve your lot? The more you put in, the more you get out.
